Get Back to What You Love

We’ve worked with CHI for previous projects and especially loved the concept behind this family-oriented shoot.

CHI’s slogan was Get Back to What You Love, which is something we stand for!

What makes a slogan like this unique is that it does not emphasize the business or the company itself, which contrasts our previous advertisement for CHI focused on the concept of Seeing Differently with 3D-Mammography.

Instead, this ad is an encouragement to anybody who’s looking to both get healthy and re-engage their passions. After all, what good would it do to be healthy and not spend your life on moments that matter?


We took this idea and came up with a concept to use the word GET from varied perspectives.

This was a family-oriented shoot that shared the importance of family medicine. To emphasized both family values and the campaign’s slogan, we chose to use phrases that a family might use every day, such as:

  • Get up
  • Get ready
  • Get home safe
  • Get together

Our location was scouted out, and we selected at a house in North Bismarck to film all of the shots at. We used windows to our advantage to simulate different times of the day.

We even placed a c-stand on the deck, and raised a light over 2 stories to reach a 3rd-story window for the waking up scene. Talk about setting the bar high!




For a different shot in the kitchen, we repositioned the same light through another set of windows. We love finding unique ways to film our projects!


In classic North Dakota style, our production day was extremely windy. We had a fun time anchoring our large sheets of diffusion—which became sails in the wind. That’s why they’re often referred to as sails on set.

Thankfully, our “family” of actors were good sports dealing with hair blowing in their face and other inconveniences.

This unpredictability is one of the most challenging (and rewarding) aspects of what we do.

Some shoot days pan out as planned, but usually we are making same-day adjustments to make sure our final product comes out clean and consistent with the original vision.

When our team rises up to creatively solve a problem, we know we are working together at our best.

This ad took on two different versions: a 15 & 30 second spot for television which portrayed the importance of family medicine.
